Self love can change your life forever

FIRST LET’S LOOK AT WHY YOU DON’T LOVE YOURSELF 

  • Growing up with not enough acceptance.
  • Having too much shame. (Shame could be from making bad choices, or things that happened to us)
  • Emotionally unavailable parents or partners, dysfunctional families.
  • Experienced sexual abuse, abusive upbringing or abusive relationships.
  • We are just too busy in life, neglecting our personal needs, to take some precious time out for our mind, body, to rest, to reflect in the now, to recharge.
  • We holding on or rather like clinging to our shortcomings, past failures and poor decisions we have made.
  • We think we do not have gifts or talents or downplay our qualities.
  • We minimize the good things about ourselves and our positive qualities.
  • We believe we should put others first because it is vanity or a sin to think too much of ourself.
  • Come from a society, family, religion, with limiting beliefs that women are less important.
  • We feel we are not enough, overworking, juggling as a result being too tired, neglecting our own needs, to even make time for self-care, self-love or to nurture our mind, body and soul.
  • We believe that we are not worthy, feeling of hopelessness.
  • We believe we do not belong and fit in.

I think you get the picture that we too busy working overworking ourselves or so mentally scooped up with feelings of sadness/depression and even denial to realise that we need to stop, to start creating new neural pathways in our brains doing the inner work, our outer worlds will completely change.
