WHAT ARE THE CHAKRAS
The chakras are considered psycho-spiritual constituents, each bearing meaningful correspondences to cosmic processes and their postulated Buddha counterpart.
The earliest written record of the chakras, written in the ancient Sanskrit, comes from the Veda’s, which are ancient Indian texts that describe the philosophy of yoga and meditation, written between 1500 and 500 BCE . The Sanskrit word “Chakra” literally translated is “wheel” or “disk” spinning wheel.
The seven chakras of spinning wheels/disks are vortexes of energy that run up and down along the spine, from the base to the top of the head.
Typically references a spiritual energy centre, with each transducer of energy relating to different emotional and physical functions in the human body in tune with your nervous system, your organs, your thoughts, and your emotions flowing throughout your mind, body and spirit. Each chakra plays a role in your body
Through these seven chakras of consciousness we move from the lower self, or unconscious state, to the higher self or conscious state.
When chakras meet neuroscience
Doctor Candace Pert wrote about the concentration of peptide and receptors around the chakras, the physical correlates of emotions are clustered at the chakra points. She released a CD about this called, “Your Body is Your Subconscious Mind”, it suggests that emotions are the bridge between the physical and the spiritual.
