Step out of your comfort zones when planning your wardrobe sewing… or if you are sewing for clients offer them more.
Be bold, be bright …. be yourself.
Here is a multi-coloured piping which totally brightened up the black denim jacket which is one of my patterns from my collection “KYLIE” denim standard fit jacket.
Pattern hack I shorten the jacket and and removed the band and did a normal 3cm hemline instead..
I love breaking designer rules, its the fashion designer rebel within me… ( and in you I hope?)
I used a piping foot to stitch in the piping between the seams, making sure the bulky piping seam is neatly tucked between the seams, having a professional finished off garment is essential.
I decided not to have functional pockets in this jacket, the piping and embroidery was my main detail focus in this design.
I used top stitched with pink satin embroidery thread, I loved the way it came out.
Buttons: I used pink round buttons with diamantés…. I love dazzle and bling, and chandeliers …
Oh, by the way the picture below I stitched metal rings onto my jeans for that extra designer look.
