Confidence is something that you develop over time. Self-confidence and self-belief go hand in hand when you believe in yourself, you boost your levels of self-confidence. When you have all that inner negative thought processes in your mind, they will knock your self-confidence levels hard, spiralling downwards.
How to change this: spend time doing the things you love. This is your food for your SOUL. Discover what you love, either take up a new hobby, a craft or learn a new skill, or reading motivationalor inspiring books is your thing.
Be with people that uplift you and add value to your life, career or social circles. Be fussy who you spend time with, avoid energy vampires, that end up draining you.
Completing tasks: Believe it, your brain will continue reminding you to complete those unfinished tasks, how can you start something new when you haven’t even finished your previous task/project. Your brain sends out statistics to your subconscious mind, adding up your percentage of completed tasks or goals you set out for yourself, how many you achieved(completed) or not. Sending out a report that you are 80% a winner & achiever, and 80% of becoming successful because you have 80% of the time completed and achieved your goals. BUT, if it is the opposite that you have not completed 80% of your tasks or goals you would be getting messages like you are 80% failure.
WHAT WILL THIS DO TO YOUR CONFIDENCE LEVELS? But, by completing & finishing what you start, boosts our confidence levels. Do, you get the picture?
Outer confidence shows the world that you can be depended on, that if you take care of your outerwear, self-grooming and self-image, imagine how well you take care of everything else you do?
